Q: Who can come to GORF?
A: GORF is an all-ages event, however those under 16 and staying on-site or under 13 and staying off-site are expected to have a parent or legal guardian attending as well. If you wish to bring your child to GORF and stay on-site, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org so accomodation arrangements can be made.
Q: Can I bring my stuff to GORF?
A: Of course! The more vintage equipment there is the more interesting the event will be. But a caveat: the venue’s insurance doesn’t cover loss or damage to the property of attendees, nor does TECH’s. But we’ll be all keeping an eye out! (The lawyer tells me I have to say this is not an admission or acceptance of liability.) There will be someone around after 12pm on Wednesday for dropping off equipment (because parking at the venue is limited, although there is more parking within walking distance).
Q: What do tickets cost?
A: The full event pass cost (including meals and bunk accomodation) is $360. If you sleep off-site it’s $200, and daypasses are available for Thursday and Friday ($60 each) and Saturday ($40). Meals are included in all passes (except for dinner on Saturday night).
Q: I can’t come to GORF but I’d like to help out. How can I donate?
A: You can make a donation via the TECH website here. Thank you!
